Pioneer uses publicly available
open source software as part of its tool suite. Any software that is distributed
as part of the suite is done so in binary
form. Any modified software is part of the central server code, and
retains all original copyright information. Currently we are not yet distributing
source code for this project.

with all standard installations of
Unix based systems.

pchar was developed by Bruce
A. Mah, based on the algorithms presented as a part of pathchar,
which was written by Van Jacobson. Details on pchar availability and use

This tool was originally written as part of the 4.3
BSD OS. It is currently available with all standard
installations
of Unix

systems.
