Bro: A System for Detecting Network Intruders in Real-Time
Bro, the IDS, was discussed during the workshop and many individuals have asked for additional information. The URL above links to the projects web site. From the webpage: "Bro is a high-performance network intrusion detection system written by Vern Paxson of ICIR and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's Network Research Group. It is described in a 1999 Computer Networks paper."
